Also I’m not at all trying to talk shit about the Sharks or sound butthurt or anything because there are some LA fans that are saying some pretty stupid shit too (about what, I have absolutely no idea) but I literally just do not understand how you can say Quick is carrying the team by himself.
I mean Quick is incredible and he does SO much for them, but didn’t anyone see how Scuderi helped him out earlier by slapping the puck away and out from behind him? Didn’t you see the first goal of the game? That kind of stuff isn’t just luck, that’s the result of working as a team. If you watched the first series against the Blues, you would know that this is a tremendous turn around for the Kings. The Blues series started off rough, but they’ve come into this game on fire. You can’t make progress like this if your goalie is the only thing keeping you in it, and I know that for a fact as a Flyers fan. I don’t think I need to mention the beating they took from the Devils. Even though Bryz was on point, the rest of the team just wasn’t up to par, and they suffered because of it.
So, in short, yes, Quick is a large part of LA’s success, but there are so many other guys on that team that deserve way more credit than they’re given.
Scrolling through the tags for the game I’m watching and seeing one recurring statement that just seems sort of dumb to me.
I know you swept Vancouver and all, and you’re still on your high horse, and that’s great for you, but you should probably pull your head out of your ass if you’re saying “Quick carries the Kings”. There are plenty of players who contribute (clearly) more than meets your eye, which is probably why the score is 2 - 0 LA right now.
I just saw a post about the bystander effect and I saw the word genovese and instantly thought of the pesto genovese at work. Everything in my life is forever relating to food.
I’m so fucking over it. I just don’t want you to fuck yourself over, again, and you tell me to fuck off because “I won’t always be there”. The only time I won’t be there is if you don’t fucking include me.
But whatever. Okay. Fine. Have it your way. But don’t come bitching and whining to me when he fucks you over. Again.
My friend just legitimately asked me if there were black people in the NHL.
I’m killing myself.
I’m not cut out for prom meeeeer

Most definitely going for a run tomorrow morning, being sick was a drag.
I thought I hated running, but after the first few minutes it really isn’t all that bad.
People make stupid as fuck arguments and it literally hurts me.
A movie theater. A temple. A school. A marathon.
Are you fucking kidding me?
What the hell is wrong with people?
GUYSI get to watch the game tomorrow before work. Do you know what this means?
I’m going to live tweet the entire thing.
Okay also if you’re a Flyers fan and you want Lavy fired then you’re an idiot because we’ve been to the playoffs every year since he’s been with us. Do you honestly think he’s going to be fired over a shortened season after taking the team to the playoffs every year so far? We’ve had key players out with injury left and right. We play one goalie every game, because we have very little faith in our backups. Sometimes, scoring doesn’t come that easy to us. And if I even have to mention the defense at this point, then I don’t know what hope for you is left.

We may have lost again tonight, but unlike a lot of people ranting right now, I don’t feel any shame for my team. Not every year is going to be our year. We have a lot of talent on our team, but right now, we’re struggling to utilize it. Key players have been in and out with injuries, and with the season we’re in, there are a lot more games to miss.
Seeing the team I’ve grown up with take such heavy beatings is rough, but that doesn’t make me love them any less. I still believe in ALL of my orange and black at the end of the night. Being a fan isn’t about being there for a winning streak, or a perfect record; that’s being a bandwagon. Being a fan is about being there through it all.
I LEFT THE ROOM AND THE FLYERS SCORED TWICE. WHEN I WAS WATCHING IN THE FIRST WE WERE DOWN. THE RANGERS MADE IT 4 - 2 WHEN I WALKED BACK IN. THE PENGUINS WON WHEN I CAME HOME IN THE THIRD ON SUNDAY. I AM THE PROBLEM. I AM THE WEAKEST LINK. I HAVE BEEN ALL SEASON. IT’S ME. I’LL STOP WATCHING AND JUST KEEP UPDATED ON TWITTER I’M SO SORRY EVERYONE.

I get the feeling the Flyers are playing to get Lavy fired. Too obvious. Either way, something needs to change,
Couldn’t disagree with this more, these kinds of posts are really starting to irk me. If Lavy was to be fired, it would have already happened. That’s been going around for a while now. People need to come back to reality. This is a shortened season, and yeah, we’re screwing up a lot, and we lack consistency, but Bryz is worn out. He’s played literally every game. Our defense is lacking, and we’ve had crucial players in and out all season. Our record with Jersey isn’t, and never has been, stellar to begin with, and although I don’t think anyone expected the loss to be this bad, I don’t think too many people are surprised.
We have so much talent on this team. You have newbies like Sean on line with veterans like Danny and Gange, and you have rising stars like Vorachek and Simmonds, who seem to be unstoppable together. You have Bryz, who has really upped his game compared to last year. But you also have a team that didn’t play together for months. You had people in Russia, you had people in the AHL, and you had people that just flat out didn’t touch ice. The bottom line is, the Flyers just weren’t prepared for this season like Chicago or the Canadiens were. We never got into a solid groove, again, especially considering our long list of injuries.
I don’t think any major players are leaving or being traded. I don’t think they’ll give up on Bryz, Lavy, or Paul. I think we’re going to finish out the season, and I think we’re going to work towards the next full season in order to improve.
