Honey, I can guarantee you that I know more about hockey than you know about your right hand, so you can sit down. I can’t even count how many times hockey analysts have talked about Martin Brodeur (the guy from the Devils) when talking about goaltending, and you don’t know WHAT Quick will end up like, and neither do I, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I’m not going to bother trying to explain anything else about the Kings to you, because I know it’s not going to register anyways since you obviously didn’t understand my other two posts to begin with.
I should go to bed now because I have my test tomorrow but highlights…

Scrolling through the tags for the game I’m watching and seeing one recurring statement that just seems sort of dumb to me.
I know you swept Vancouver and all, and you’re still on your high horse, and that’s great for you, but you should probably pull your head out of your ass if you’re saying “Quick carries the Kings”. There are plenty of players who contribute (clearly) more than meets your eye, which is probably why the score is 2 - 0 LA right now.
This guy knows what he’s talking about.
I’m a girl but hey I appreciate that anyways.
Also I’m not at all trying to talk shit about the Sharks or sound butthurt or anything because there are some LA fans that are saying some pretty stupid shit too (about what, I have absolutely no idea) but I literally just do not understand how you can say Quick is carrying the team by himself.
I mean Quick is incredible and he does SO much for them, but didn’t anyone see how Scuderi helped him out earlier by slapping the puck away and out from behind him? Didn’t you see the first goal of the game? That kind of stuff isn’t just luck, that’s the result of working as a team. If you watched the first series against the Blues, you would know that this is a tremendous turn around for the Kings. The Blues series started off rough, but they’ve come into this game on fire. You can’t make progress like this if your goalie is the only thing keeping you in it, and I know that for a fact as a Flyers fan. I don’t think I need to mention the beating they took from the Devils. Even though Bryz was on point, the rest of the team just wasn’t up to par, and they suffered because of it.
So, in short, yes, Quick is a large part of LA’s success, but there are so many other guys on that team that deserve way more credit than they’re given.
Also I fucking hate that smoking commercial like I’m going to have nightmares now because of her creepy ass voice.
